The company

Dae-Tek Oy started its operations on 1 August 1990, and has achieved a stable and significant status in the Finnish excavation machinery market.

Import and spare parts sales have been concentrated in Dae-Tek Oy's premises in Itä-Hakkila, Vantaa (Kivipyykintie 8), and machinery sales in Vantaa (Kivipyykintie 9) and Turku (Valurinkatu 11).

The existing premises area covers ca. 10,000 m2, including two properties in Vantaa. Spare parts warehouse, spare parts sales and office are located in Kivipyykintie 8 (ca. 800 m2), and machinery sales and repair in Kivipyykintie 9 (ca. 800 m2). In Turku, the company has rented ca. 300 m2 of heated space.

Three retail dealers (Joensuu, Seinäjoki and Oulu) and our subsidiary Konemyynti Niemelä Oy in Tampere handle the machinery sales nationwide.

Spare parts are distributed to the whole country from the central warehouse by four spare parts salesmen. Repairs are provided by contractors throughout the country and Dae-Tek Oy's own repair shops in Vantaa, Tampere and Turku.

For 18 years, Dae-Tek Oy's main representation has been the various Daewoo earthmoving machinery (now Doosan). The most significant group is the excavators, whose average 20% market share has made them a market leader for several years. We also represent Terex/Fermec tractor excavators, and Everdigm percussion hammers and crushers.

The turnover of Dae-Tek Group totals ca. EUR 30 million. Markku Lappalainen acts as the Managing Director.
